Representatives from both universities collaborated in a structured co-design workshop to jointly develop the digital construction skills toolkit curriculum.

A Joint Approach

Faculty from Edinburgh Napier University and Tribhuvan University's Institute of Engineering spent three days mapping the toolkit's modular structure, agreeing on learning outcomes for each unit, and reviewing Nepal-relevant building typologies and case studies to anchor the teaching materials.

What Comes Next

The workshop produced a shared curriculum map covering BIM coordination, ISO 19650 standards, 5D cost workflows, and Common Data Environment practice. Module development begins immediately, with the first pilot module expected by July 2026.
