Yes. While the toolkit is contextualised for Nepal's built environment sector — using local building typologies, regulatory frameworks, and case studies — the underlying content on BIM, ISO 19650, 5D workflows, and CDE practice is universally applicable. All resources are open-licensed (CC-BY) and can be freely adapted by institutions anywhere.
The project formally involves Edinburgh Napier University and Tribhuvan University IoE. However, we actively welcome interest from other Nepali HEIs wishing to pilot toolkit content or participate in the skills audit, and from UK and international institutions interested in building on the project's outputs. DigiArch Nepal is funded by the British Council's Going Global Partnerships programme under the TNE Exploratory grant scheme (Grant TNE2025-3230, value £24,985.75). The project runs from 6 February 2026 to 31 August 2027.
