A cross-institutional team spanning Edinburgh and Kathmandu, united by a shared commitment to inclusive, practice-led digital construction education.

Dr Nirodha Fernando is a lecturer in the School of Computing, Engineering & the Built Environment at Edinburgh Napier University, specialising in Building Information Modelling (BIM), digital construction workflows, and transnational education in the built environment disciplines.
Her research focuses on the adoption of digital construction practice in lower-resource contexts, inclusive pedagogies for digital skills development, and international capacity building. She leads the DigiArch Nepal project as Principal Investigator and is responsible for overall project governance, the digital skills toolkit co-design, and the Train-the-Trainer programme.

Roshan Dhonju is based at the Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University, and serves as Co-Investigator on the DigiArch Nepal project, coordinating the Nepal-based research, skills audit, and pilot activities.
